In August, I attended the Shoppe Object home and gift show to source for clients and discover new brands and makers. This season, I was drawn to pieces that reflected a maker’s hand and individuality, showcased unexpected details, embraced bold, moody hues, or elevated minimal design through quality and material.
I’ve linked my top 10 artisanal and sustainable finds from the market, and you can find more of my favorites over on Pinterest.
If you’re looking for product sourcing, market reports, or assistance preparing for Shoppe Object in February, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I bring a unique perspective from my experience on both the buyer’s and exhibitor’s sides. Following the list below, I’ve also included some insights and guidance on exhibiting at Shoppe Object.
I’m always on the hunt for unique lighting, and I love how this piece pairs a modern silhouette with a glaze that highlights the maker’s hand, each one slightly different and entirely unique.
These hand-carved pieces showcase both craftsmanship and material. They have an organic, rustic feel that could work with many interior design styles.
I love the addition of embroidery on these patterned linen designs. It adds tactility and an unexpected layer of texture.
Casa Edel’s linens are elevated by stitching details that bring both a playful pop of color and the character of handcraft.
The next three selections spotlight elevated materials and rich, moody hues. Mungo’s mohair blend wraps weave together deep teal, navy, and olive green, a palette I’ve been especially drawn to in 2025.
Dove and Donkey's pops of muted lime and dusty blue are a great example of dopamine decor, and the brown style is a classic. The design is elevated by its super soft hand and fringe detailing.
I love the addition of deep teal and muted evergreen in these luxe alpaca throws. The blanket stitch adds an artisanal, hand-crafted touch.
The quality and craftsmanship of these pieces elevate what could otherwise be a simple hand broom, allowing it to double as wall decor.
The texture and detailing of these pillows highlight the artistry of hand weaving.
I was struck by the simplicity of these vessels, which feel elevated through their quality and form.

Thinking of exhibiting at Shoppe Object? Here are some tips I've given my clients, coming from a buyer's perspective:
-Engage with target and repeat buyers in advance of the show.
-Draw buyers in with bold design or color. Even if minimal styles or neutrals typically sell best, it's important to have statement pieces that create the "wow" factor.
-Design your booth to be both engaging and inviting, encouraging buyers to come in and browse.
-Make signage clear for buyers to quickly understand the most important aspects of your brand—whether it’s certifications like B Corp, WFTO, or Nest; a commitment to organic materials; or being a women-owned and operated business.
-Be present and engaged. I see so many booths where exhibitors are on their phones and disengaged. It’s crucial to make buyers feel welcome and to share your enthusiasm for the products.
-Ensure you have a well-designed catalog to share with buyers, including all the information they need to make purchasing decisions (measurements, material, price, certifications, company ethos, minimum orders, payment terms, etc.) , along with high-quality photography.
